X-rays (Radiology)

X-rays, also known as radiology, are a valuable tool in diagnosing a variety of medical conditions in pets. Our advanced digital radiography equipment allows us to capture high-quality images of your pet’s bones, organs, and tissues. This technology enables us to:

  • Detect fractures and bone abnormalities
  • Diagnose lung and heart conditions
  • Identify foreign objects or obstructions
  • Evaluate the size and shape of organs
  • Monitor the progress of ongoing treatments

Our team of skilled veterinarians and technicians are proficient in interpreting X-ray images, ensuring a swift and accurate diagnosis for your pet.

Ultrasound

Ultrasound imaging is a non-invasive and painless diagnostic tool that uses sound waves to create detailed images of your pet’s internal organs. This technology allows us to visualize:

  • The heart and its function (echocardiogram)
  • Abdominal organs such as the liver, kidneys, and spleen
  • The reproductive system
  • Tumors or masses
  • Bladder and urinary tract abnormalities

Ultrasound is particularly useful in guiding certain medical procedures, such as biopsies. Our team is highly trained in performing and interpreting ultrasound examinations to provide a comprehensive assessment of your pet’s health.

In-House Laboratory

Our in-house laboratory is equipped with cutting-edge technology to provide rapid and accurate diagnostic results. With our laboratory services, we can perform a wide range of tests, including:

  • Complete blood counts (CBC)
  • Blood chemistry panels
  • Urinalysis
  • Fecal examinations
  • Cytology
  • *Microbiology
  • *Allergy testing

Please note that Microbiology and Allergy testing are not conducted in-house; instead, we send these specific tests to an external laboratory.

Having an in-house laboratory means we can quickly diagnose and initiate treatment for your pet’s conditions, reducing wait times and minimizing stress for both you and your furry friend.
